Around 4:30 am I woke up because of a persistent telephone caller. He told me to look out my window and I could not believe what I saw. It was pouring rain. I quickly pulled on some clothes grabbed an old tarp and headed north praying all the way. I knew what happens when water hits OSB board,,, it is ruined. (For those of you who may not know, OSB is like particle board and it acts like a sponge with water contact. It expands 2 or 3 times its normal size).

"God please don't let it rain on the board", was all I kept praying all the way up. At 5:30 in Bradford my wipers were still going because I needed them right up until hit the pavement of the parking lot, but not a drop on the trailer load of OSB board............ The story does not end there........

I opened the trunk grabbed the tarp and started to roll it out on the plywood....... I had grabbed the wrong tarp.... this was the one we had just thrown out because it was filled with holes. I could not believe it!!! Still praying I jumped back in my car and drove into Bradford to see if I could buy a big tarp. Canadian Tire is closed at this time, (it is now 6:30 am and starting to rain in Bradford), but I am still praying. I was told there was a new Home Depot store, so I go there and they were just opening up for 7 am. The manager lets me go in and buy some tarps...... I race back to the factory wipers going the whole way back because it is now pouring buckets in Bradford.

I pull in to the parking, and not a drop on the OSB board....... I grab the tarps and cover the board all the time laughing and thanking the Lord for another miraculous answer to prayer.............. As I start to pull the cords tight around the wood.... the sky opens up and before I can reach the car I am soaked to the skin.....
